Mine has some rust on the seat base; this is (at the moment) marginal & purely cosmetic - nothing structural, but as it affects lots of vehicles, and is well known by BMW I wanted to note it early with my dealer just in case it develops into something serious that needs to become a warranty issue.
It's been duly noted.
