They had a sport line in red in the show room, we thought what's the point in paying for a metallic colour when it looks so good in a free one!
None of the matallic colours really caught my eye in the way Le Mans blue did when i was specing up my current 120i M-sport.
Agree red on the old car didn't look that special, although i don't recall ever seeing it on an M-Sport, which makes a big difference on the old one.
