I got hit by a drink driver in my 93 Honda Prelude...complete write off. Was the first car I had bought on my own and modified (tastefully)
Brand new rims were bent under the car.
I was making a left on an advance green when he blew the red light at about 90kph and used my car instead of his breaks to stop.
Lucky there was a cop opposite me that saw the whole thing. I had to go to the hospital for some cuts to my face and hand and my back seizing up.
When the cop interviewed the driver he tried to blame the whole thing on me. Guy failed a breathalyzer on scene and was promptly arrested.
Cop came to the hospital to check up on me, and admitted that if my car wasn't lowered that I would have probably ended up on my roof from the impact.
Damn still miss that 93 Milano Red Honda Prelude SR.
