I wonder if they're carrying over the same safety concept from the F10 onto the 20 and 30. A salesperson at Pentagon in K'town was showing me how the new nosepiece was made to be more "giving" in the event an pedestrian steps in front of the car. The bonnet will also translate aft and upwards up to 7 inches to cushion their impact as well. I thought it was pretty interesting.

It's true the hood was half-closed, leading to the gap. I also saw another F20 with its hood also half-closed, as well as the Alpina D5.
