I have driven loads of japanese turbo cars (Supra, Skyline's, STI, evo ++), after hard driving they are all orange-ish and very hot. You can easly light a cigarette on them.
Those japanese cars have been pushing from 0.6 BAR to over 2 BAR.
That beeing said, I think your turbo looks very red, that might just be the picture. Not sure.
