Update..........
Got visited by 2 technical guys from BMW on Friday. They took a look at the issues raised as mentioned above and agreed to resolve all at no cost to myself - as expected, this being a brand new car and under Motorplan.
Something to add - we chatted about chip-tuning and all considering this should realise that it immediately cancels Motorplan if not done through BMW themseleves. I would suggest anyone claiming to be BMW approved etc. should be challenged. Perhaps consult with your BMW Dealer first and get authorisation to do this if you are considering it.
Another nice comment was again on the Midnight Blue colour. The gents who visited me had never seen the colour before on an actual car and they were very impressed.
Anyway, just some food for thought on the chip-tuning issue.
