In Taiwan they're making a deal out of these LL01 vs LL04. For us anyways they're saying yes you can use LL04 for gasoline engines, but LL01 is preferred for gasoline engine. LL04 is for diesel engines.
I don't know why that is so, but I've heard enough to steer clear of LL04 based purely on perception, just for your reference.
