The Giants worked with him on his weight the whole time he was a Giant. And then, its a big surprise to him that they bring it up as part of contract discussions. A players job it to be the best they can be for the team. It is a team sport. He's addicted to food. Instead of taking the help he chose to lash out at the helpers.

I can tell you as a 30-year Giant fan who loved Panda while he was here and admired his obvious talent, after hearing him run his mouth about the Giant organization and the Giant players, all I can say is good riddance. The Giants hare an amazing organization; great record, great players, great fans, full stadium almost every game. If anybody disrespected anybody, it was Sandoval continually not taking the advice of his support team. It cost him a career legacy in San Francisco and its costing him now in Boston. Too bad, really.
