2010 135i Coupe  [5.26]
I've said it a million times, the GTI is the best all-around car for the money... by a mile. I've had a Lotus, 135i, Audi S4, G35 Coupe, etc and the only car my wife was pissed that I sold is my 2008.5 GTI. It's just an absolute pleasure to drive and the fit and finish is great for the price point. It's not the fastest car on the road but I don't live my life a 1/4 mi at a time either - I drive 4 miles to the train station. If modding is your thing, short of a Jeep Wrangler, this car probably has the largest aftermarket I've come across.

Two thumbs WAY up for the GTI.
