116d or 118d
Hi all
Im new to the site.
I had my 2007 E81 118d SE stolen just before Christmas and just been sorted with insurance settlement so now looking to replace it with potentially a F20.
I am looking to potentially order an M Sport but money is tight and can't really stretch to a 118d which would be my preferred choice (same power as my E81 (143 bhp)).
Has anyone drove a 116d? Does it feel gutless? Im concerned that it wont be powerful enough (116 bhp) so don't really want to place an order for one 'just because I can't afford a 118d' especially if it is too slow.
I am not a particularly fast driver but like to know that the car is capable of overtaking with ease if need be.
Would welcome your opinions/views.
