Here we see why I no longer use type 1/2. I am insulin dependent. Jaye seems to only need to supplement his other oral regimin, but he could probably survive in the post-apocalyptic world, at least for a while. Me, without insulin injection, I have about 2 weeks to get the family set up and sufficient after the big one is dropped. And I will be a miserable crank those final 2 weeks, a major drain on the water supply, and would probably eat a bullet long before the 2 weeks were up.
