I really hope BMW does bring this car in the US, not in Xdrive only version.
Perhaps they could price the M140i at the mid to high 30s naked (no nav, no x-drive), to compete with the STi, Golf R folks, with a touch of extra comfort.
Although I think the 2 series has nice proportions, I'd much rather have the extra 2 doors without having to get a bulky SUV.
Right now, I don't think BMW has any expansion plans given that the sales are tanking. They have to figure out what is going on with their current cars first. *ahem horrible lease deals ahem*
