Since a couple of updates ago Spotify via iDrive is limited to showing the played song and select next song (by pressing the wheel on the steeringwheel).
You can see the currently played song by first attaching the Y-cable to the iPhone and than select "iphone" in the external music carrier option. Otherwise it will select the iPod by default. Than select 'currently selection' in the iDrive menu and you can see the played song on the central display.
Strangly I can only press next during Spotify Radio, and not while browsing in my own playlist. Anyone tips on that one?
