I seriously considered an LSD more for low speed traction than track heroics. But without chassis tweaks, it'll understeer and I don't like understeer.
Plus all Lotus cars and McLaren cope fine without them.
I think the M135i handles well enough; I'd stick mine on different shocks if I was a regular track day hero but ours gets used for long business trips too so needs to remain comfortable.
But even standard, it does very well on track.
If the weather is awful or snowy, we take our Subaru.
