As I recall, this happened to me in NYC, Miami and Santo Domingo(RD), US citizens with the same habits. I understand their pride I'm born in the same town where Mata Hari is born. FWIW.


In Santo Domingo a guy from NY asked me from which part of Australia I'm from. Come on mate. I'm from the old countries.

EDIT: P1et sounds a bit Dutch, you're a dutchman in Texas probably?
