I was just out at my car, decided to wipe off the black soot that accumulates all the time on the exhaust tips and found what I presume is a noise control flap on one of the tips. Similar to the M135i I imagine. Anyway, that's now disconnected so hopefully will get a slightly rortier exhaust note at certain revs. Does anyone know what rpm range the flap was opened and closed for?
Just wondering, what mods have other 125i owners done to their exhaust systems? Looks like there's a silencer just before the rear wheels. Anyone removed that? I think that might open its lungs up a bit...
