Coming from the current M3, I am looking forward to seeing what //M cooks up for the M2. Whatever engine it is, it will be better than than the current M coupe, and just short of the F80 M3. I don't really care what tools they get to assemble that toolbox, so long as they do.
As for those that complain about brand dilution. Guess what, most people that are not a fan of your brand could give two shits what you drive. To them, a BMW is a BMW. Period.
