Thumbs down Looking for a good dealer

BMW Gallery in Calgary North: I have had two incidents with this dealer that have been less than terrible. Not only do you have to book 6 weeks in advance (assuming the service department calls you back), the level of professionalism is embarrassing to say the least.

One would expect the customer service to reflect the prestigious automobiles lining the showroom. I excused my first experience believing that perhaps it was just an off day. Now I understand that I don't drive a new 7-series (but rather an older 325) I don't feel I deserve any less treatment. In the end, my car spent 3 days in the shop, the problem was not resolved (because apparently they don't have the computer equipment to analyze 'older' cars - go figure a specialist in bmw that can't service there own make), I was charged huge coin for shop time and later discovered that parts were not put back together (head light shroud and trunk paneling - clips nowhere to be found) after their exploratory search came up empty.

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone thinking about even the most routine oil change, never mind purchasing a new BMW. I would rather drive the extra 40 km across town than have to deal with the incompetence of this shop.
