Today I participated in the Norwegian autox championship. I have some good results from back when I competed with BMW E30s, but my driving was slightly out of shape now. I could not keep up with my competitors, even though the F20 should be quite strong on paper in its class.
The problem is hairpin turns. Due to turbo lag, the car takes forever to get going again. To get around quickly, you need to use left foot braking while building up turbo pressure with the right foot. I don't master this skill (yet).
