I had a very similar problem to this in my 3 Series.
Turned out it was the driveshaft had swollen and was touching one of the ABS sensors which ended up in me seeing tyre pressure warnings on the dash and losing power.
Took it to the dealer and they just repositioned the sensors and the problem stopped (obviously disregarding the inevitable eventual failure of the driveshaft!)
