Yeah... I've really got to say, that's what it is. I really need it to have a stick if I'm going to pay money for that car. The FWD vs RWD is a serious, serious disappointment, and it will forever effect how the car looks and handles, but for my money, it would be the lack of a manual transmission that would be unforgivable. I won't buy a CLA or an A3 because of it. And I would love nothing more than to own an A3, as I always loved the B5 S4, but no stick... no sale.
Per BMW's recent trend, I'm sure the stick will not be available with any AWD drivetrain...
