A subjective view on gear changes is difficult to argue. Humans are good to find connections in the most unlikely events... Personally I dont think there is any relation between the way you park or tire changes and the way your gearbox behaves.
My gearbox is far from perfect - especially in Sport+ with moderate driving it is a bit weird - WOT is usually flawless.
Try to disconnect your battery over night and see what happens - it worked for me a few times.
