The F30 is certainly not bloated though, The 335i is actually 66lbs lighter than the outgoing E90 and the 328i is 11lbs lighter. Not too bad for throwing in all those extra goodies.

Don't get me wrong - the f30 is a great car, it's just been more tuned for comfort than the e90 was. I know they'll bring an f31, but it prob won't be in higher performance trim.
My wife already has an x5, which we use for major cargo / kid duties. I don't want another suv (they just don't drive the same as cars), but i want the ability to throw stuff in the back. |
F20 has a huge trunk, so getting a high performance 5 door 1er sounds like a winner for you!
