Spacer is perhaps privileged direction. Because I m not sure ET40 will clear enough the brake caliper and next is ET34. With 10mm it would be equivalent to ET35 which gives me 1mm benefit in terms of positioning with fender.
The guy will order 10mm specific BMW spacer with hub centering shape and longer bolt (he will also try longer lock bolts). The bad news is that I have to wait for 1 more week. The good news is that I will get that for free ...
