The LSD essentially makes e diff redundant. E diff works by applying brakes to spinning wheel. This in combination with ECU taming the power means you are slowing down. With LSD traction under power is higher for longer. Helps to balance the car, feeling of rear pushing the car round bends is more evident, reducing both understeer and steering input.
The e-diff is only enabled with DSC Off, and the ECU is not taming the power in DSC Off. Braking a spinning wheel will also transfer the torque to the other wheel, so it doesn't really slow you down. It will also balance the car (the torque couple from the driven wheels rotates the car into the corner) and reduce understeer and steering input. It does however not work as smoothly and quickly as your Quaife.
