The most powerful 1 Series will have a Gazoline 2.0l I4 Twin-Scroll-Turbo with about 250 PS. Whether one turbo or two I do not know but definitely not three. Three is for the Diesel 3.0l I6 that will be in found in the 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X5 and X6. The 1 Series will have no more I6 engines. Three maybe aswell on a new Gazoline 3.0l I6.

0 Series/MINI: I4>I3 (not 2.0l I4 but 1.6l I4)
1 Series/X1/Z2: I4>I3 (2.0l I4)
3 Series/X3/Z4: I6>I4, I3 (3.0l I6)
5 Series/X5/Z?: V8>I6, I4 (4.4l V8 until the new 4.0l V8 comes out)
7 Series: V12>V8, I6 (6.0l V12 until the new smaller displacement V12 comes out)

Sadly, Such a market does not exist in North America.

Audi S3, VW Golf R and VW Scirocco R have the same engine, and I know (so is BMW), that the 1 Tii Hatch will be the best, sportiest and most capable car, but Audi has yet place for an RS3. May BMW respond to it with an M1 Hatch F20, using the technical parts of the M1 Coupé F22? I mean why not build an M1 Hatch F20 instead of a 1 Tii Hatch F20? BMW Tii will it be built by BMW AG or by BMW M?
Does BMW think about something like this?
BMW vs. Audi
BMW Tii vs. Audi S
BMW M vs. Audi RS
