Sorry about that! We're a country of contradictions! We quote fuel consumption in MPGs, then quote Fuel prices in pence per litre!
We measure longer distances in miles, but shorter distances in meters….
And we measure height in either Feet and inches or Meters and centimetres depending on who you talk to!
