It is more than likely that your Dealer's techicians have not had the training to do it so the dealer is saying it can't be done. This is always a problem with new models.
I am supprised they had a demo built without it. It is a low cost option.
I would think that it would be a retro fit module as it shows as an option available on all the radio variants and Bluetooth is available in most cars now.
Perhaps some of the other guys here have asked their dealers already.
I will ask my BMW rep tomorrow.
