So once you shift out of first gear when the car is new, you never go back? :-)
I regularly downshift to first gear, but I guess I will have to rev match it myself, like I have done the last 25 years or so. I sometimes double declutch it as well, to make it smoother. You can feel it in the shifter that it really makes a difference when going to first. |
Lol I go back to first. Every time I come to a complete stop and start off again. I just don't see why anyone would throw it in first gear while moving to go forward or even to slow down. To much pressure on everything. People blow their motors accidentally putting it in first gear on the move (money shift)
