Man... I'm a dad so I can't imagine how you felt. My kid is bonkers and has been taking JKD for 3 months and already up for his next stripe. He's only 5 but wearing 7-8 year old gear - big kid. I hope he takes up BJJ like I did but also don't want him to get hurt.
Arthritis is a real possibility man. Have him take up yoga to keep really limber and strengthen the core muscles. Maybe bone soup too.
Yeah man. My doc really stressed range of motion so he cut out all NSAIDs so I don't have a double whammy on healing. On the side, I've been drinking mad bone broth and eating like an animal - although on keto. Lost 4.2lbs on that too. But taking in a lot of fats and protein.
