Nah! Sorry don't think the concept comes from that Fugly X4 - with the lights connecting to the grill.
The nose comes from the 2 Series coupe and the tail lights come more from the 6 Series.

Please bring back this kind of front end to the 3 Series (Front view and Profile) & please leave a little space between the lights and grills
