My cruise control does not interrupt i.e. the marker go orange, when i depress the clutch. it does with the brake, but if i change gear it will stay green and idle the engine whilst the clutch is down, only to attempt to bring the vehicle up to target speed when a different gear (or the same one) is engaged.

is this normal? no other car with cruise I have had in the past has done this. Nearly caused me to go into the back of someone the other day when i unexpectedly started accelerating (dont get me wrong it was my fault for not noticing the green marker on the speedo - im not blaming the car!).

I believe the manual (at least hte PDF one on this site) states that the clutch interrupts the cruise so if the manual is correct then I guess my car is faulty - weird that it doesnt rev hte engine when clutch is depressed though if it is faulty.
