The information I have is that the ZF box uses the same set up in the 135i, 125i & 125D
These 3 engines have very different torque and horsepower outputs. The Gearbox is designed to accept the input (in whichever mode) at a set parameter (input of torque-revs- loading etc). This same box is also used in other Uber powered cars. My issue is that if you change these parameters you would definitely void the warrantee if something goes wrong. I would not be willing to take that risk for a couple of milliseconds. If there is a written warrantee backed by BMW then I may look at these products.
