yes. exactly. its grown in water, the system is called hydroponics, and the chemicals they use to feed and nourish the plants are overwhelming. when you smoke the bud, it has a sour taste becuase of those very chemcials.
ive found that the best tasting weed is from soil, minimal chemicals, and citrus compost. thats just my experience.
