+1 - I did this with my e series touring - switched from RFT to non RFT but XL load rating tyres. It allowed me to play around with tyre pressures to tailor the car's ride etc to how I wanted it. XL tyres lessen tendency of tyre sidewalls "rolling over" when driven quickly.
