I keep hearing the phrase "DSC I, DSC II" and "DSC III" thrown around on random BMW forums.

My question is, what version of DSC are we on now? Can anyone show me some links to point out the differences/does anyone know the differences? Is DSC III safer/better than, say, DSC II? I'm curious.
