If this saloon/sedan makes it past China I reckon there will almost certainly be an M performance version. BMW appears to be adopting this more as new versions come out.
Would have to be x drive, most competitors are 4wd. This render is really good and I hope they take some inspiration from it.
As for the M1 moniker ... why not reuse it? (Yes I'm goading you BMW). It's not like anyone on the board of BMW is ever going to permit/make another supercar...
